However, can you imagine how can children prove themselves as a great team and a team player by just sitting in a monoblock or gaming chair and just communicating through chat or voice chat? Prove themselves that they can reign in a game with just their strategy in the game?
With the help of eSports (electronic sports) or competitive/professional video gaming, a lot of teens and even children get to play video games such as League of Legends, Rules of Survivals, DOTA 2 and etc… and with these, it simply changed their lives even if they are just young.
Recently, the International Olympic Committee approved that League of Legends is also selected as one of the demonstrational sports in Asian Games in Jakarta Palembang.
With this it simply let these players to even play more as it can simply lead for this to be also approved as a competitive sporting event in school.
Age is just a three-letter word after all, Christian Mark Regencia, from Grade 9- SPJ Slytherin, proved it as he already plays League of Legends since he 10 years old until now.
Rein Joesef Gocon, who also started playing LOL when he was 10 years old until now, under Grade 9- Calla also showed that with experience, he can REIgN with his strategies in the game and despite his school problems which he can still work onto, he’ll still continue what he had started.
Aside from these two competitive players, Maverick John Rafilo, of Grade 9- SPS (Special Program in Sports) proved himself that he can still do academics, being a table tennis player and playing LOL concurrently. How?
With all of these, we can’t deny the fact that nowadays, we can’t stop those competitive players who want to be part of an international team for League of Legends once they are inspired.
