QNHS’ teachers, students nods Financial Literacy Program Implementation

Quezon National High School teachers and students support Department of Education’s Implementation of Financial Literacy Program (FLP) to be financially knowledgeable.

​

After the different scam cases, teachers find the program beneficial to them as well as the students which will address those financial issue.

​

“With regards sa program na yan ng DepEd maganda, kasi likas talaga sa Pilipino or sabi na naging part na ng kultura ng karamihan sa mga Pilipino ang hindi talaga nagiinvest.” Mr. Parentela, a grade 10 teacher emphasized.

​

Mr. Parentela also added that it would be beneficial to the students because at the young age they will be aware of investment schemes.

​

“Pero sana may malinaw na guidelines sino ang magtuturo at paano, actually napakinggan kona yung program at maganda kaso napa ideal nung setting na nilahad dun” he added.

​

He even stated that he was a victim of online scam, and he said that the program could help people to be aware of the proper way of investing.

​

“I strongly agree with the implementation of Financial Literacy Program to us students. This will serve as the stepping stone into raising awareness regarding different revolving issues which are timely and relevant to our society. Arabella Isles,a grade 10 student explained.

​

She further explained that the program will help the people to be careful and aware to problems related to financial.
